K2 integrations connect business information to the forms, decisions and tasks that use it. We assess the interfaces and process requirements before development.
Put business information to work across systems
When people need to copy information between applications, the process depends on their time and attention. An integration can connect the underlying information to the workflow that needs it.
We develop Automation K2 integrations using REST, SQL, Microsoft SharePoint, WCF and other interfaces supported by the selected platform and source systems.
Define what the connection must do
We establish which system owns each piece of information, how it may be accessed and when it needs to be read or updated. Authentication, permissions, data quality and failure handling are part of that discussion.
This avoids treating an integration as a simple transfer of fields when the business rules require more care.
Connect data to a complete process
Our integration experience includes a platform that brings together information from multiple registers and systems, with reporting, automation and configurable information exchange sites.
The same approach can support an application in which users review information, make decisions and assign work without repeatedly switching between source systems.
Make operational behaviour explicit
For each connection, we agree what should happen when information is unavailable, a request fails or the source system changes. The required controls and recovery behaviour are defined according to the importance of the process.
Interface availability, source-system permissions and any third-party licence requirements are checked during analysis. We confirm feasibility before committing to a particular integration design.
