Nintex Automation 5.7: a 2023 milestone

Nintex Automation 5.7 was released on 19 September 2023. Its name differs from the K2 Five branding familiar from earlier releases.

The release extended style-profile support for form controls and introduced a new SharePoint Framework app for new SharePoint Online installations. Existing installations and SharePoint on-premises environments followed different app considerations.

That distinction matters when planning an integration: the appropriate approach depends on the existing environment, rather than the product name alone.

For customers, a change in product naming can make it harder to follow the history of an existing environment. Keep the installed version and build information alongside the name used in project documentation.
